The following are some of the combinations which we get from the classics which give the native childlessness or loss of progeny.
The combinations are given in BRIHAT PARASARA HORA SASTRA causing childlessness are:
- If the 5 th lord is placed in the 6 th house, and the Lagna Lord in conjunction with malefic like mars, the native’s firstborn child will die where after his wife will become kakabandhya sterile.
- If the debilitated fifth lord is situated in 12 th, 6 th, or 8 th and mercury in the 5 th house, the native wife will be kakabandhya.
- If the 9 th lord is in the 5 th house and the 5 th lord is debilitated and mercury and Ketu are there in the 5 th house, the son will be obtained after a great ordeal.
- If the debilitated 5 th lord is situated in the 6 th, 8 th or 12 th houseor in the enemy sign and the 5 th house is occupied by the malefic planets the son is got after great ordeal.
- Should there be the signs of mercury or Saturn in the 5 th houde and should the 5 th houde have the conjunction or aspect of Saturn and mandi, the native will have adopted sons.
- Child loss to the native will occur in his 33 rd or 36 th year in the event of the malefic planet occupying the 5 th house from the ascendant or from Jupiter.
The combinations in the JATAKA TATVA for childlessness are as follows
- If the sun is in the ascendant and mars in the 5 th house, the native is not blessed even with a single child.
- If the lord of the 5 th house counted from Jupiter is in the 6 th, 8 th, or 12 th and the lords of the 5 th, 9 th and 1 st houses are in the 6 th, 8 th, and 12 th from the ascendant, the native shall be childless.
- If Jupiter occupies the 5 th house and the 5 th therefrom is occupied by a malefic, the native is useless.
The combinations in the PHALADEEPIKA for childlessness are given as:
- When the 5 th house reclined from Lagna, the moon and Jupiter are associated with or aspected by malefic without any beneficial association or aspect.
- When the above houses are hemmed in between malefic, that is the fifth house is in papakartakri yoga.
- When the lords of the 5 th house are in 6 th, 8 th, or 12 (the same point is discussed in Sanket Nidi )
- If a beneficial lord of the 5 th house occupies his own house or be in his sign of exaltation in that house, there will be loss of children.
- If the lords of the navamsa occupied by the owners of the 7 th, 9 th, and 5 th houses are in malefic amass or associated with a malefic, there shall be loss of children.
- If the lord of the 5 th house is in a malefic AMSA or a fall or eclipsed or inspected by a malefic, abortions are sure.
- If the lord of the 5 th house is associated with pr inspected by the lord of the decanter occupied by the owner of the navamsa in which the 12 th lord is posited, loss of children is certain.
- If the lord of the 5 th house is in a malefic shashtyamsa and is inspected by or associated with a malefic, the native is in distress through children.
- If mercury and the lord of the ascendant, occupy any of the kendras other than the 1 st, progeny is denied.
