Vastu and our subconscious mind both functions as a reflex action to each other. Vastu means to make the living place better to live and subconscious mind is like a storage device. This subconscious mind stores the tastes that we add to our home. It is the subconscious mind that is involved in all the choices. Eventually our home portrays the picture of mind. I will make this understand with a very basic example – If a person has a messy home, it symbolizes the mess going on in his mind. Rather it is a parallel process. Right from choosing the plot to the decoration of home, everything is the reflection of our thought process. Anything that we keep in our home directly clicks our mind and affects our day to day life. This is the reason when we start storing things in any particular direction; the problems related to that direction starts arising. E.g. storing things in the North brings mental stress and mixed thoughts leads to missing the opportunities.
